Splendiferously Fancy Day 
(Fancy Nancy binoculars were a big hit!)
Thanks to a late night email from Auntie Susie..we found out that some of our local Borders bookstores were having a Fancy Nancy event today. We opted out of going to 'Baby Loves Disco'(because FREE activities win handsdown over spending $48 on tickets!) and headed over to the bookstore for some ooh-la-la-free-but-very-fancy-fun! Did I mention the free part?
There was story time of course
we even got to hear the newest Fancy Nancy Christmas story for the first time(yep, and Mummy ordered it on Amazon for half price..sorry Borders!)
There were Fancy Nancy coloring pages,
bow making, stickers for stickering, and the ever so posh fruit-loop-o-jewelry design center.

Paisley had never tried fruit loops before because we have all that stinky organic cereal(boring!)
...but I think we have a new superfan because she ate more than went on her bracelet! They even had a prize drawing for a book and a Fancy Nancy tote...Paisley won the tote but was too shy to retrieve it...guess who did the honors?
...yeah I figured you wouldn't have to guess.

What a FUN day!! The girls were perfectly dressed for the occasion too! I love the photo at the table where you just see Paisley's eyes peeking over the crayon bowl! Too cute!!
We were going to go too but Em has a wicked cold. If you sign up for Borders they sent 30 and 40% coupons each week. We're going to BLD in January.

Yeah for free parties and especially ones that are so well done. I guess you are going to have to buy a box off fruit loops every so often as a treat.

I love that you take them out in those beautiful tutu's. I would have said that's only for special occasions...but really, what's more special than just a day out with Mummy!
Your darlings are just so incredibly sweet and precious and their Momma is such a talented artiste!
In your honor I sent Keeva to school in a tutu today...I'm so proud of myself!! I feel I've acheived a step in a twelvce step program lol:)
