you know me...I love love love MJ! Love it! Have I said how much I love Matilda Jane?...well, you get the picture! But...for some reason, I'm just not in love with this season...and well, I've decided to skip this season and wait to see what Spring holds! I mean it's not that I've given up on ever buying MJ ever again, Heaven knows, Piper would collapse in anguish if she knew there were no MJ ruffles to wear(her absolute favorite thing), but in all honesty...the kids have enough clothes, I bought a ton of stuff on ebay and at a great consignment store (all from profits from selling the girls old stuff) that I just think they have enough stuff.
WAIT...did I just say that? "have enough stuff"....

I've been liking the stuff less and less, especially since finding others with more coordinated fabrics. I also like Etsy customs. My pic of the season is Mini Boden.
Lisa...mee too, I got a tonne of Mini Boden off ebay (new) and splurged on a few l/s t's for the girls. I just love their style, reminds me of my days in London.
If only I could squeeze my bum into some of their grown up selections...well, we'd be stylin!

A bit less expensive, and each piece is made when you order. If you do place an order, note that in my opinion, the actual fabrics were brighter than shown on the site.

Em is wearing a new Boden outfit today. It's a cute LS top with a dog on it and striped sweats. She LOVES dogs so was real excited to get dressed this morning. She got quite a few outfits for fall from them. Weather permitting we have family pics Saturday and she is wearing 2 really cute outfits including the jeans with the heart pockets and patches. I'm about to put some NWT stuff on ebay (MJ).
I look in lust at all these...but we have TIGHTENED our belts ( can you hear me wheeze as I type;)) I agree though nothing caught my eye this fall in MJ. i do lve Mini Boden. Keeva and I salivate when the catalogue comes in. Although last night we where pouring over the Catching Fireflys new catalogue....too cute!
It's funny, I can't make myself buy MJ. EVEN THOUGH my in-laws bought me three pieces last Christmas for Q, which have been in heavy rotation ever since. She wears the MJ pants constantly. CONSTANTLY. Still, I cannot make myself buy her pieces myself. Some sort of mental block I guess.
I'm with ya... only bought the peasant and ruffles this season. Compared to my usual gorging, this feels great.
The part of this post that makes me sad, is the fact one of my favourite names Matilda, with one of my favourite middle names, Jane is taken by a company.
