taking off my trainin' wheels
"um Mum, this seems to be a bit more tricky than I first thought"Today we took off Pipers training wheels. We weren't sure how the day would progressand the early signs pointed towards a full retreat and resignation

there were some scary moments and it seemed perhaps her gymnastics know how gave her ideas on how to evade the almighty crash. We persevered and by early afternoon she was rockin' two wheels like a pro!

way to go Piper!

I am laughing so hard I am actually crying. Seriously (hormonal and an emotional wreck at the moment, waiting to hear about VISA...) Piper looks so adorable and how did I know you'd be such an awesome mama to have those elbow & knee guards on her and a helmet. I'm so tired of seeing kids without helmets here getting injured. And so today Miss Piper is a blessing :)

And now I need to go & get my hankercheif!

Great job. That girl has loads of spunk and determination and that will take her place in the future.
