We keep getting loads of lovely squares for the quilt, some of the families we know through our adoption agency send 'asian' or chinese themed squishes because of the connection we have with our children and their heritage. Others have sent fabric that will remind us of them in one way or another. For Piper's quilt her texan great grandmother 'Grandma Maxwell' sent Texas bluebell fabric, while Nana Pam sent the West Virginia state flower 'rhododendron' fabric. Our new Zealand family sent lots of 'kiwiana' fabrics. It is always fun to see what people will choose!
