It was not a fun day...and then I look at these photos from the weekend and I am reminded that this too shall pass, the struggles, the tantrums, the whining, the anguish will dissipate, but enough about my mood, lets discuss the girls! We are having some...issues with sleep (Snowflower 1), and with behaviour (Snowflower 1), and with sassyness (Snowflower 1) and lets not leave 'mini me' Snowflower 2 out of the mix...sure this child has the face of innocence written all over it...but she is our sneaky monkey, our destroyer of all things, our copycat stubborn little Snowflower! and today the stars aligned in such a way that when both forces met they combined into a hurricane of Snowfloweriness that almost consumed their Mother's sanity.
and yet...I lived to tell the tale.

OK...so, we had the EXACT SAME DAY today! I could not believe it when I read your post...sigh...it happens to the best of us, right?
I'm sorry. I hope tomorrow is a better day!
Tomorrow is another day baby.
You need comfort food gal to help heal your nerves. Hugs to you. Tomorrow will be a better day.
It must be the moon or the planets in alignment. My two kids are completely making me crazy right now - The mouth on the older one is starting to influence the younger one. Ready to pull my hair out!!!! GGGRRR!!!
oh boy! and yes we all have those days:)
I had a day like that a couple weeks ago and spent the next day broken up about it. Wish I had just let it go in the night and woken up with a fresh start feeling.
I am so glad you lived to tell the tale...and now you can be glad that today is a new day!
Em has the same top as Piper with the shorts.
Must be snowflower 1's age. backtalk, whiney, clingly, hysterical, and worst - in her words "sneaky". Taking pleasure in using sneaky behavior to force global change at preschool (no more cubbys because someone sneaks toys in - turns out its my kid - she won't tell me how, so we have to search her each day and I am threatening to call her uncle the past master at this type of behavior to talk her out of it.)
Your photos are getting so beautiful, Hayley! well...and your daughters, too.
sometimes it's tornado flowers, eh? hang in mum. thinking of you.
