To Ellis with LoveToday Piper asked to paint. I asked her if she would paint a picture for Nana in New Zealand, but she said she had someone else she wanted to paint a picture for. About halfway through I asked her what she was painting, she replied "it's Ellis, she's a fairy"...when I asked her if Ellis was sitting on a chair she said "No Mummy, it's a wheelchair"This is on it's way to our dear friends Kris and Garth who are expecting to bring home their beautiful little girl in the next few months...we love you and we love Ellis already!

Awwwww I just cried too! It's amazing how the beautiful spirit of a child can make it all worthwhile. Piper is going to be a great "cuz"

This is the absolute SWEETEST!!!!

And, can I put my art teacher hat on here for a second?? Did Piper draw/paint this all by herself? 'Cause if she did, this girl has S.E.R.I.O.U.S. talent for her age!!!!!

Email me privately, Hayley...we 've got to talk!

all by herself. no direction from me at all except I asked her what color she was thinking of painting the dress, and whether it was night time or day time sky? The kid loves to draw, we don't do it enough, perhaps I should make more time.
