UPDATE: the session went really well, Paisley was quite solemn during the photoshoot, but they seemed quite pleased with her sweetness...the clothing for this new website is amazing...all organic cotton, lovely colors...so soft. As soon as the website is up and running I'll pop the link up here.
not to mention....this photograph was taken by Lauri Stumph...yet another talented Minneapolis photographer!

I just read your pettiskirt post and wanted to let you know that I came across a pettiskirt tutorial through Martha Stewart's site for making your own, cheaply. Just Google for 'girl's pettiskirt tutorial' and you should find a few to chose from. I also found several tutu tutorials that take 1/2 an hour and don't involve any sewing - EASY!!

I LOVE this photo!! There's so many great things about this photo! The carefree lightness in Paisley's step, the way Piper is looking on in the distance, the fact that we only see Paisley from behind...this is one awesome shot!
