I'm no Annie Lebowitz...thats for sure...and while I love having an SLR camera I truly do not like my lens. I can't get a decent macro shot of Piper, never...not ever. If I could shoot pictures of my beautiful daughter like this Snappy Snapperson then I'd be in photographic Heaven...or if I could take candids like this genius, or these guys...but alas not. I am just about ready to throw my lens over the back fence!! Here are a few of my mediocre shots from our attempt this morning to get a Christmas card worthy shot. I may have to try again tomorrow.

When life hands you Piper, you make Piperade!

Oh.My.Goodness - Piper is a godess! She is sooo gorgeous! So your camera must be taking pretty good shots, or I wouldn't be able to see that!!!

I looooove Kris' photography, absolutely stunning.

Maybe the pictures weren't exactly what you wanted but Piper is beautiful in each one.

Those are lovely shots! You have a good eye. Do not be so hard on yourself. With a cutie to shoot, hard to miss the shot.

Keep smilin!

She is GORGEOUS! I really love the one at the top where her face is partially covered with the fabric of her dress. It is BEAUTIFUL!!! Oh my goodness. Start now getting ready for her teenage years...she is stunning!

I LOVE these pix! Its funny because when I am in the midst of picture taking pressure, I dont like any. But once I step back a few days (or weeks) later and take a look, I see lots that I love. :)

Also, I was shocked to click on snappysnapperson and IIIIII popped up. LOL Do you have a Rebel? I hated my stock lens but the 28-135 changed my life. Course I am thinking the Nikon D80 with an 18-200 would REALLY change my life. LOL

You have some beautiful shots. You are being too critical. The one of her looking up is perfect! What a gorgeous dress.

Sorry I didn't get back to you but getting baby news during the holidays put me into overdrive.
We are sending a care package to Rosie via our agency so it has to be small and all has to fit into a Ziploc baggie!Blankie, soft toy and photo album for her and a little gift of candy for the orpanage workers.

Feel free to email me, my addy is in my sidebar.

I am a proud Cdn mamma to a 4year old daughter born in China. My ipod question is this....are you selling tickets to Cdn's?
