It makes me keep hoping and praying for an outcome for the people, one where a woman who is raped doesn't have to worry about affording treatement, one where no parent will go bankrupt because their child is ill, one where all children have access to education.

My understanding re taxes is Obama is raising taxes on those earning more than $200,000 a year I still don't get how that is perceived as raising taxes on the middle classes? Our highest tax bracket here starts once you hit the 75K (US) mark and there is a lot of support for that so that the middle classes - probably 40-75K US get more support. I just never knew 200,000 K could be considered "average/middle income America", it's not my average America!!; 3:10 AM

insanemommy said...: I shed a tear everytime he speaks. And let me tell you he speaks to me! I am feeling more hopeful that the Republican party now realizes what a frickin joke McCain and Palin are. We need Obama and we need him now. We can not afford another "average six pack Joe" in the White House. After Bidden and Palin's debate last week it is so obvious she doesn't know what she says or where she is. She is a train wreck. She's so ignorant that she actually believes she qualified. Those who I have heard are voting for her are because they too were knocked up before marriage. Good reason to vote for someone! She doesn't know what she stands for. Pro-Life. Pro-War. We certainly dont earn that much, especially as a single income family...and most people I know dont earn that kind of income...and the higher tax is on whatever comes after the first $250K...so whats your problem with that?
Don't you think our system is broke if Americans are PAYING illegal aliens 50c an hour in the first place! This is astonishing bad judgement. Government is there to govern, and social programs are there for the needy...sure there is fraud, but look at the fraud at the top end of the scale too! tit for tat.

Sorry, I just dont buy this republican babble...look at countries where these programs do work and figure out how we can implement them wisely here.
