the beginning of summer

the end of summer

the temparature dropped to 39 degrees last night, pretty much a sign that summer is on it's way out. I took the top picture of Piper on her bike in late Spring and the bottom one today. I think she's grown considerably over the summer, even though she is wearing the same pants. Today was the first day she needed to wear a long sleeved shirt. The shadows are growing longer, soon the bike will get stored away.

wow,she really has grown! love the bunny helmet.
here it's been chilly nights as well, but after this summer's ridiculous heatwave, I'm actually stoked for fall!! Do the kids still say "stoked"? No, I'm sure they don't.

Yikes, that is chilly. There is not much cuter to me than a child riding a bike. Hopefully there will be a few more rides before the snow falls.

Bella shot up a bit this summer too! Great to have a pic from the beginning and the end in the same pants on the same bike.

I am sad when the shadows grow taller, but I love the crispy air of fall.

P.S. I wanted to post this about the bubble wrap here just in case you didn't see it on the previous post...

A pop with every click of the mouse, no hiss!

Sorry I have not had a chance to visit in so long. We are just getting used to being home with Sofia and we are exhausted, but happy! Love, love, love the pictures of Piper. The preschool ones were so precious. They made me want to cry...but in a god way. What a beautiful and wonderful child.

Hugs,
Jonni
