Just thinkin'
You know, even through all the stressy stressness of the last few months, and the financial strains and woes...I cant help but wonder if one day, if all goes well...maybe five years from now...that perhaps we'd do this again? No, we arent thinking of doing it anytime soon...in fact Mike turns a lovely shade of green when I even mention it in passing...but maybe someday, when we are back on track, when we are back in the black...maybe we can bring a little boy home? A toddler. If we do, he will be called Peter, yeah, funny huh, Peter, Piper & Paisley...haha, jokes on us. But quite honestly, I couldnt think of a better name(eh Dad!).
Until that time I will advocate for the waiting children and adoption with a passion.

I could see you doing this again someday. Don't give up the dream.

I sense you will do this again... a little boy would be nice in the Piper and Paisley house :O)
Yes I could see you also adopting at least two more-you have to have a even number right?
Okay, who's the cutie pie!? And YES, you DO need a boy... just tell Mike it's to even out the estrogen vs. testosterone thing you guys have going on there ;) ANY man can appreciate all that a little testosterone can do for a household!
Peter is a very cute name. Give Mike time. Dad goggles take longer to form than the mum ones I think (where you forgot what a pain the paperwork and savings was and just focus on the lovely bits like your new little ones face). That is my theory at least. :)
oh Carrie...three would be the most we could EVER do...and thats probably a stretch...four, well, thats not on our radar..ever.
nice try though.

Is this little man on a current wc list??
I definitely see a boy in your future!
the photo is from yahoo images.
My guess is yes yes yes.... you will. ;0) Angel
I say keep the dream alive!
Its a nice thought, isn't it? I often wonder if we'll go to China again (gosh, we haven't even been once yet!!!)
Piper, Paisley and Peter are all great names! I know 3 families that have followed their names down to the "letter"! One family is Ts (there's 5 Ts), another is Ms (there are 3 Ms) and the other As (there are 3 As)!! See... it's not uncommon!!!
and you know what......if you do it a third time
you'll get that baby in record time
since no one signs up anymore
The other day at the vets Mike and I met two little boys around 4&5, and they were SO adorable and friendly and serious and just all around huggable...I seriously considered a boy next time around. You never know.
I think you should do it again! Give Mike a little time and I think he will be on board too. What a sweet little boy. I like the whole "P" thing you have going on over in the Hoppes household. Our magic letter is "S".
Hugs,
Jonni
