what is the world coming to?

One of our favorite charity organizations has been targeted by a malicious hacker who has destroyed their website in one foul swoop! Who would do this? We love this charity, in fact we donate to Piper's SWI nutrition fund through them, and also donate to their medical fund for children who need lifesaving surgery. Recently, one of the founders won the right to run with the Olympic torch at the 2008 Oly*mpic games along with eight children from different SWI's through a contest in a Chinese newspaper. I cannot help but wonder if this attack stems from that or a more recent fundraising contest for non-profits on a popular website where people can host their profiles. Where ever this attack originated, it is disturbing, hatred of such a wonderful charity is unfathomable, but as our faith in the generosity and loving side of people is proven over and over, we struggle to understand the depth of vulgarity and hate that must motivate someone like this. Makes me want to take this blog private. The intention of this charity is to help those left behind in orphanages and seriously ill children?? Why on earth would someone do something so purely evil?
