Brrrr.....the weather has changed! It was 84 degrees two days ago and now it's in the 40's and we are COLD! When we went pumpkin picking on the weekend we wore t-shirts and sweltered. Today is a whole different wagon of pumpkins...it is downright scary cold! Reminds me that winter is fast approaching. So, what do you do on a brisk day like today...well, you go to the ZOO!
The aquarium is always our first stop after the snow monkeys...
Piper was terrified of the sharks, only moderately interested by the sting ray pool, but fairly impressed when her brave Mummy touched one...and surprisingly, she was a little freaked out by the diver in the dolphin pool prior to the show...you never know what she will like, love or despise...she is my enigma!
Then we hit the Dolphin Show...it's always fun to see the dolphins, Piper especially likes it. This dolphin is FORTY years old, the normal life span is only 25 so that's pretty incredible in itself!
...we caught the Tigers napping from up high in our monorail car. Beautiful aren't they.
Piper was interested in the camels for about 2 seconds until a NWA airplane flew overhead, then all she could talk about was the plane - go figure!
Ni Hao Takin! The crazy Chinese cow-moose-bear-beast!
"So Piper...how was your day at the zoo?"
"dood" - still having trouble with her g's!
