Sunday Funday!

Well, despite my mood being quite sombre over the weekend(still mourning the All Blacks loss) we decided to hit the orchards for apples and pumpkins! We started off at Dierdorfs Orchard in Waconia, it was quite the Fall bonanza...the trees were brimming, the leaves were turning a myriad of autumnal shades and the farm store offered a cornicopia of all things that speak of the impending season, apples or many varieties, apple butter, caramels for apple dipping, candles, cheeses...you name it, they had it. It was lovely despite the 84 degree day, that spoke of high summer, not early Fall! Needless to say, I left the flash card at home again, so there are no shots of Dierdorfs. However, on our way out we stopped at our local farmstand an picked up a pumpkin...this was a biggy and now sits proudly at our front door!
