a pumpkin like no other
So, the other day we picked out a big ole Daddy pumpkin and Piper picked out a bitty 'Piper' pumpkin but for the last few days she has been asking if we can get a 'Mummy' pumpkin...so after her nap we headed to another local pumpkin patch. This time Piper was overwhelmed by all the little pumpkins and the new little kittens that were just as enamoured with her. She picked out a 'Mummy' in about five seconds flat but spent the best part of 25 minutes picking out a 'Paisley'...it had to be the tiniest pumpkin in history, and she held onto it all the way home. This child is already thinking about her sister...what a blessing!
Is this the 'ONE'
or is 'THIS' the one?
whaddya think midnight?
The little ginger cat was hoping it's covert camoflage techniques would fool Piper into picking it, but Piper had her eyes on the black kitten...ye gods, no, we don't want a cat! The farm was fun, there were 2 ponies, a scraggle of roosters and hens running around and a bunch of what I'll term as 'barn cats'. I almost think we had more fun with the farm animals than at the zoo!

Too too cute! How do you ever say no to a face like that? BTW, I LOVE Paisley as a name (and Piper).
Oh, so cuuuuuuute!!!!
Love the tiny pumpkins.
Can't believe it's cold enough for parka and mittens there - it is still gorgeous here...in fact this is the weather we've been hoping for all summer - mid-seventies and sunny, with brilliant foliage. I hope it lasts!! That said, if I had a cute purple parka and matching mittens to wear, I'd be wearing them!
oooooohhh.....what sweet photos of Piper.....and I love that she was picking a pumpkin for Paisley! I am a sucker for kittens too!
She is too sweet! What a special girl to be always thinking of her sister. She's going to make the best big sister ever...I think she is proving that already.
Oh man all these pics are priceless... don't you think it's time she see the beach in Florida?????? Yeah?
Oh oh oh, those pictures warm my heart.....although it looks MIGHTY cold - brr!
