This was posted on our friends the Ronan's blog...it is fascinating! It's also a reason why Mike & I are so interested in education & technology. Mike works in the field of Telecommunications and Fiber Optics and we were actually discussing some of these points over dinner last night if you can believe it...yeah I know, surprised you all, it's not all Little Einsteins and chocolate milk around here!



Look at the statistics! Our government needs to start investing in our children's future...they need to focus on improving our education system, paying teachers better and demanding higher qualifications. Kudos to EVERY single teacher out there who is trying to educate our FUTURE with the meagre means they are provided. Other countries are passing us like we are a Ford Pinto on the Autobahn!
